1983 Rookie Draft Will Re-Start on
Monday, July 6 at High Noon EDT
It is your responsibility to be prepared and ready to go when
the rookie draft re-starts.
We will complete drafting two rounds a day.
The first round each day will start at High Noon EDT. When that
round is completed a new file will be sent to everyone and there
will be a break in the action. The second round each day will
start at 7 PM EDT.
Trading is allowed during the rookie draft
The Time
Limits and/or Ground Rules for the
Remaining Rounds:
Rounds 4 - 6 > 10 minutes
Rounds 7 & 8 > 5 minutes
Rounds 9 & 10 > Draft Lists Only
Garbage Pile Draft> Claims & Cuts/Claims Lists Only
If you go missing when you are on the clock and your time to make a
pick runs out you will be passed. You will be allowed to make your pick
when you resurface after the team currently on the clock makes their pick
The Different Ways You can Participate in
the Rookie Draft:
1. Live via e-mail or IM ... This is self explanatory. You will need to be
able to read and send either e-mail or IM's within the allotted selection
time when you go on the clock.
2. Daily Draft List
... I will need to receive a draft list from you before the
start of either round each day.
3. Telephone ... This is for emergency situations only. If you want to
send
me a telephone number to call you because you can't participate live or by
draft list get that to me and a reason why ASAP.

The CAFL is a twenty four team draft league that started with the
1980 professional football season playing forward.
We are currently getting ready for the 1983 season. Play will
